Beth Beskin practices family law and related matters, including custody disputes and adoptions. She has a special interest in dividing complicated financial assets upon divorce, including pensions, stock options and deferred/executive compensation plans. Beth has extensive experience preparing QDROs (Qualified Domestic Relations Orders), which are required to divide pension benefits upon divorce. Beth also has extensive litigation experience regarding pension and employee-benefit matters governed by ERISA (the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974).

Beth is licensed to practice in Georgia and in Louisiana. She is admitted to practice in Georgia Superior Courts, the Supreme Court of Georgia, Louisiana State Courts, Federal District Courts for the Northern District of Georgia, Middle District of Georgia, Southern District of Georgia, Eastern District of Louisiana and Western District of Louisiana as well as the Eleventh and Fifth Circuit U.S. Courts of Appeals.

Beth graduated from L.S.U. Law School (Paul M. Hebert Law Center) in 1989, where she was a member of The Louisiana Law Review and Order of the Coif. She was an associate with the Louisiana law firm of Jones, Walker, Waechter, Poitevant, Carrere and Denegre from 1989 until 1991. From 1995 – 2001, she was a partner in the Atlanta firm Beskin, Levine & Powell, LLC, where she practiced ERISA litigation. From 2001-2003, Beth was Of Counsel with Carter & Ansley (now Smith, Moore, Leatherwood) where she practiced insurance defense litigation. From 2001-2010 she practiced family law Of Counsel with Warner, Mayoue, Bates & McGough.
